Introducing the new 2007 True North 34

True North 34 | tn34 Motor Yacht

The True North 34 was completed in June of 2007 and is now available for sea trial. Be one of the first to demo the newest addition to the True North family by contacting our Sales Department today. This new vessel has been designed with the focus on the customer. Most of the details were taken from hundreds of surveys of our existing owners and prospective customers.

Powered by the latest technology common fuel rail diesel engines provided by Volvo Penta, these new engines are quieter, more efficient and more potent than anything we have used in the past. A great deal of effort has been spent in making the ride quality as comfortable and dry as possible. The engine space utilizes a new True Quiet insulation system which makes this our quietest boat yet.

True North 34 pilothouse is a comfortable and inviting space that utilizes a large wrap around settee that easily converts into a second double berth as well as a forward facing companion seat. Of course it would not be a True North without the signature walk through transom and wide side decks for safety when walking forward.

TN unveils revolutionary TrueTrac drive system

The new TN34 will utilize a unique drive system developed by our chief designer Clive Dent and his design team. It places the propeller high up in a tunnel and provides less vibration, cavitaion and noise. In addition it enables the engine to be placed further aft allowing for optimum trim angle resulting in a better handling and dryer ride.

Like all True Norths, the 34 comes packaged with everything you need to get on the water as soon as you step aboard for the first time.

True North 34 represents a milestone in sensible design, solid performance and robust construction. This fast, fun cruiser delivers impressive, dependable performance, requires low maintenance and will maintain a high resale value. Most evident throughout the True North 34 is the overall sense of practicality and simplicity. There is a determined lack of superfluous gadgets, an absence of troublesome frills, and a seriousness of purpose. This is, after all, a boat inspired by the dependable, seaworthy New England lobster boat. The True North 34 is designed and built to be used frequently and with great ease.

But tough can also be beautiful, and the True North 34 will turn heads in every harbor. Her sweeping sheerline, proud, plumb bow, low-profile pilothouse, gorgeous tumblehome and curvaceous, reverse transom all work together in perfect harmony. You can't walk away and not look back at her.

Since the deck level is where all the action is, the galley-up arrangement is convenient to the helmsperson and to passengers enjoying our new seating arrangment in the saloon and cockpit.

Kids with wet bathing suits and sandy feet can quench their thirst and appease their appetite without creating a mess down below. For adults, entertaining dockside or underway is so much easier when everything is accessible and close-by.

Visibility is most important at the helm, and this boat offers true 360° views from the steering station. You don't have to leave the controls to see behind you when docking, and when underway, the hull's low running angle, 2-3.5 degrees, keeps the bow below your line of sight. Many True North owners have said this is the easiest boat they have ever docked or driven, regardless of size.

Sleeping accommodations and a full-sized head are located below. Here, ventilation is important. With opening ports and an oversized, overhead hatch, cool breezes will find their way throughout, making for pleasant evenings on the hook.

Last, but not least, the engine room is readily accessible from the salon. The efficient new VOLVO PENTA, single common rail diesel engine has plenty of room surrounding it, making everyday service checks and regular maintenance easy. Here, our years of experience in building both sail and power vessels are evident, as the well-engineered systems and thoughtful selection of equipment will provide years of trouble-free service.

Take your family out on the True North 34. Enjoy your time on the water knowing everything will work as it should. And return with a minimum of fuss, a quick sweep and a simple hose down. But be prepared to stay awhile, looking back one more time at her graceful lines and rugged good looks.
